The biggest innovation is the boat’s hull, developed and optimized for speeds from 0 to 22 knots. It’s designed for smaller engines (Volvo Penta D3), fully electric Torqeedo motors, and built to maintain comfort at any speed. The hull’s hydrodynamic shape eliminates any planing threshold.

“At Nimbus, we’re committed to ensuring a boat performs comfortably at the speeds it’s intended for. We know that Coupé owners enjoy cruising at speeds from 4 to 20 knots, when boats usually create large wakes and consume a lot of fuel. For the 305 Coupé, we designed a hull that maintains comfort across the entire speed range. In practice, the 305 has no true planing threshold and offers low fuel consumption at all speeds. Speed can be adjusted according to weather conditions, providing enhanced safety, comfort, and the best possible ride to enjoy your natural surroundings,” says Mats Jacobsson, Head of Product Development at Nimbus.

Based on the same Scandinavian design philosophy as her popular and award-winning sisters, the 405 and 365 Coupé, the 305 Coupé marks a new entry in Nimbus’s Coupé series with the “sidewalk” concept.

The “sidewalk” is an asymmetrical deck layout where the starboard side deck is extra wide, providing safe and generous freedom of movement. This makes it comfortable and enjoyable to move around the boat from bow to stern, with easy boarding and disembarking along the entire starboard side. The interior space is maximized, allowing for a larger cockpit, salon, lower deck, and cabin than typically possible in a boat of this size. A key feature of the Nimbus sidewalk design concept is the large sliding door to starboard. The door allows quick access when docking and enables maneuvering from a standing position on the side deck.

The helm has been optimized for maximum flexibility and can be equipped with accessories to meet individual requirements. Bonded windows and a large curved windshield provide an outstanding panoramic view. The salon features expansive flat surfaces and is light, airy, and cozy, thanks to carefully chosen materials and LED lighting. The large glass roof and skylights offer generous natural light. A dinette solution comfortably seats four and easily converts into a double bed. The dining table folds down into a cocktail table with glass holders, making the salon a practical space for socializing. The galley is equipped with a ceramic gas-heated glass hob with integrated ventilation, a Corian top, a 65-liter refrigerator, and an optional additional fridge/freezer under the sofa.
